This blend is different for the 2016 vintage and has no Chenin Blanc. Stunned that this comes from Texas!

2016 Calcaria. This is not a Chenin blend. It's 76 Trebbiano, 13 Roussanne, 7 Viognier, and 2 Albarino. Not as sweet as the 2015 (thank goodness). Nice summertime sipper, although I think I prefer the Sauvi-B more than this one. I was getting some lemon and tangerine on the nose. The entry was lemon and peach, good acidity that cut through the chicken salad with basil pesto dressing. Nice crisp finish. Easy drinking wine!

An elegant/crisp style wine. A lot of character. One of my favorites from this winery.

How do you spell QPR? C-A-L-C-A-R-I-A.

Great citrus crush and great pucker on the finish! Goes great with any fruit and most cheeses.

Pairs the best, however, with a 108 heat index.
