Clearly a well made wine. Nice acid, pleasant all around, but off-dry and just not my style.

So I went in for a gewurstaminer as were having some Thai food and I walked out with this interesting wine. Some of these grapes I haven't even heard of: 60% Sylvaner 15% Muscat 15% Auxerrois 10% Chasselas. Even though it seems like Kermit's name's been being slapped on more and more labels, I was sold at $12. Straw colored. Nutty, lychee, grapefruit, and clementine on the nose. Full bodied and soft on the entry. Acidity begins to creep in on the mid palate. Citrus, mango, tropical fruit, and hints of buttered toast. Finish interestingly rounds out again and is decently long. Good find. Good Buy. Would pair great with sushi. 89
