Spices/black pepper, oak, and leather on the nose. Leans full bodied for a Pinot Noir. Black cherry, vanilla, and earthy forest floor. Stands up well with rich salmon and mushrooms. Drinking great 4 years in.

Out of the bottle: Dry pastoral with light finish. Pleasant. Subtle oak character being 9 months aged in French oak.
After it has time to breath it becomes a very nice crisp Pinot with the oak flavors becoming more forward.
