A wine that was poured blind. I called this 2015-2016 Napa cab. Iron first in a velvet glove! Beautifully ripe (without being fruity/jammy) blue and black fruits here...blueberries, mulberries, plum, and a hint of blackberries on the nose. It’s silky on the palate, Milk chocolate, Mexican vanilla and creme de cassis. Perfumed layers with sweet smoke wrapped in a velvet like profile. Hedonistic like. This is pop and pour good right now! Thanks @Keith Fisher .

Delicate, suave, silky, medium to full bodied wine with soul. Subtlety is its distinctive quality. I just wished more Napa wines could pull this off. Maybe it's the Stagecoach fruit, but who knows?

To say this is a masterpiece is barely doing it justice.

Masterpiece! Spicy, bold, a bit clove-y. Great with a good, fatty steak.

Updating some tasting notes after my trip to Napa a few weeks back.

Toss up between this and the Verasion Cab...this one has a longer finish, and that's fine by me.

Stunning as always. Enjoyed out of a magnum. Still a touch on the youthful side.

The 2008 is absolutely stunning. I really can't believe how elegant and nuanced this is drinking for such a young Cabernet. Just love that crushed stone aroma you get from the M5 block.
