Rich briny and ashy, with citrus, apple, asian pear fruit, cleansing acidity. Richly hued. Pair with good sardines.

May 18th, 2015Not as bright and citrusy as expected, definitely more malolactic and buttery. Not gonna throw it out of bed though!

Ok, but over-oaked in my opinion. I did get some anise notes or flavors, with some of the other cooking spices, but predominantly heavy butter, like a cheap Chardonnay from CA. Totally covers the light bright minerality that I expect in an Assyrtiko.

Oct 20th, 2017Has a floral taste, also a little salinity. Really an interesting wine. At first the middle is a little hollow, but it transforms as it warms up into the typical assyrtiko
