Agiorgitiko gets little attention from American consumers and this wine illustrates why - it's thin, acidic and has none of the charm and racy spiciness for which better examples can be admired. Perhaps its age is an issue but I think it's more a case of careless wine making. Don't give up on agiorgitiko, but don't bother with this one

A bit tannic, but went well with Greek food. Would not go out of my way to purchase any though.

On the nose licorice, red berries and florals. On the palat dark cherry dominates and is followed by a rather weak finish with some vanilla. 2012.
