The Crown Gap has never been my favorite from them. Still solid. Also, needs 3-4 more years in bottle to integrate. 91+ with that kind of age.

The Truffle Mac & Cheese was a big hit with the crowd, I’m allergic to mushrooms.

At Pebble Beach Food & Wine 2025

The ticket to this event has a pretty big price tag. But when you consider what a Napa etc. tasting or two and lunch would cost you, you are pretty much there and there is so much more than that. It ends up having great value. It’s wine, spirits and food candy land.

This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast. Rich, complex and elegant.

Light burgundy in color with a wide reddish rim.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Showing red currants, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, light vegetables, tobacco, chocolates, light barnyard, coffee and peppercorn.

This Single Vineyard is nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself as a sipping wine.

This 8 year old is peaking now, although it will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Thank you Scott for sharing.

Wine Spectator 90 points. Robert Parker 94 points.

Grapes were aged in a mixture of new and used French oak barrels, and concrete vats.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$150.

Pretty extracted, lots of dried fruit. Just ok, just not my style. Lots of alcohol on the finish.

Textbook Sonoma fruit with a big frame and bigger body. Smooth but rich red berry, touch of light strawberry jam. Beautiful.

Our monthly 4th Friday event at the storage facility. No requirements, just wine you want to share with others! Always an enjoyable time.

Gap's crown may be my favorite vineyard for Pinot. The fruit that comes out of here is so powerful and in your face. KB is able to get a bit of restraint out of this, but it can't fully tame it. This is a wild beast. Blackberries. Nutmeg. Birchwood. Solid backbone. Serious pedigree can be tasted throughout!
