So delicious for the price. Funky, toasty, red fruit driven sparkling.

Notes of pizza dough with crisp green apple, pear, lemon zest on the palate. Some yellow grapefruit zest compliments the finish.

Tastes like home! Green apple, lemon, pear, creamy mousse. Slight autolytic notes.

Light gold with a decent amount of bubbles. Green apples, roasted nuts, and lemon zest on the nose. The fruit is muted but enough is there. Some raspberry and brioche to liven things up, along with cream.

Did I mention these are vintage? This is a 2016 and it’s obviously got a lot longer to go. It’s a bit rigid and austere at this point but will get better. Right now so much acid. Exceedingly dry and fruity at this point. The Pinot Noir is showing heavy, which isn’t a bad thing.

The palate follows the nose closely with more brioche bread and apples. The nuts and pears lead to a tinge of honey, which may be a sign of things to come. This is not a sparkler to be dismissed. It’s plenty fun and I just know that it will get better with some age. Give it a shot.

Not overly dry. Nice effervescence. A great pairing with lightly sugared or sweet pastry.
