2009 vintage. At The Gardens restaurant, Munich. German Bordeaux blend - how bizarre, but it works! Medium ruby hue. Deep intensity of aromas: Black Forest gateau, savoury spices, body odour earthiness. Mineral and metallic. Some smokey aromas. Complex and deep. On the palate, dry, medium plus acidity, full bodied, medium tannin - ripe and rich. Satin mouthfeel. Long rich finish. Lovely. Much more impressive than the Knipser Cuvée X from the same vintage. Drink now until 2032.

Cab S, Merlot, Cab Franc... but far away from Bordeaux. Cool, earthy, a bit tomato. Gonna try again in 24 h
