Dark ruby color with intriguing dark fruit, roast coffee, spice, and a bit of eucalyptus aromas. On the palate its medium-bodied with surprising acidity, and dusty tannins. It shows baked blackberry, black raspberry, roast coffee, vanilla and spice flavors. Lingering sweet finish.

Jul 20th, 2015Dark color. Smells luscious. Baked blueberry scones, pencils and horses. Flavors also luscious. Berries of the dark skinned variety. Blue, black and black currant, huckle. Hints of smoke and some currant, raisin, galvanized stuff. It’s tasty though. A classic Zin from Lodi. Chewy, jammy, and juicy bombastic raisin, metal winner.
