Raspberry with a touch of baking spice and black pepper on the nose. Raspberry, stewed dark red fruits with a long black pepper finish. Delicious... big, bold and very smooth with a couple hours in the decanter. Enjoyed with the Gennise in Joburg. $14 USD

Decant 30 mins for a deeply complex medium nose of earth, black cherry, raspberry, cassis, anise, leather, coffee, cocoa, pepper, spice, tobacco, blackberry and vanilla. Gentle acid to the palate of medium body with black fruits, anise, and black pepper, Soft tannins lead to a medium long slightly chalky finish of pepper, black fruit and smoke. Very good balance and structure. Soft tannins better as a sipper or with lighter dishes. Great value at $27.99 USD for this South African Shiraz.
