One of the reasons we always make a trip out to Klein Constantia is for the Vin de Constance. Deep golden yellow with a fragrant nose of honeysuckle, honeycomb and white flowers. Heavy acidity (7/10) and full bodied. Well balanced and rich on the palate with notes of ginger, honey, orange marmalade. Not overly cloye which is nice. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2037.

Last of the wines for our blind South African tasting but one of the best dessert wines in the world. Thick golden yellow. Perfumey on the nose with honeysuckle, honey, acacia, white floral notes, orange marmalade, and apricots. Balanced acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Thick texture and super rich with apricots, spices and honey. Rounded and long finish. Drink till 2047. (94+)

Delicious rare sweet white from South Africa enjoyed by presidents, prime ministers, and by Napolean in his final
exile (he hated it but then he wasn't in a good mood).

Big day tasting in Constantia so minimal notes; intense medium gold; medium intensity aromas of canned peaches, marmalade, honey, buckwheat; sweet, medium acid, medium alcohol, full body, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; long finish, very good

Vintage 2008 / Have a weak spot for this Vin de Constance. Figs, orange, Turkish delight and an impeccable balance. Interesting wine / Paired with Moelleux aux Chocolate
