Liked it but a little more buttery and viscous than the Sea Smoke. Went great with the scallops.

This is the best Kistler I've ever had. The most reminiscent of Burgundy, highest minerality, and the best balance. Drink it if you can find it.

Golden yellow in color strong minerality in the aromas with pear notes and a hint of a saline note in the aroma with Golden Apple character and overripe citrus. Also saffron and yellow spices starting to develop and wine is very complex so strong core of Indian spices and great concentration in the reality on the pallet with good acidity in the finish . Complex.

I'm afraid I drank this too late 😔. 9 years is a long time to keep a Chardonnay.
