Apr 29th, 2021Give this wine plenty of air, I decanted and left it for 45 minutes. Lush, sweet, cooked plums and tilted soil. Very good Pinot and drinks beautifully now. The decanting does the trick. Kistler makes quality Pinot, not the best not the cheapest but thoroughly enjoyable even young.

Medium bodied. Ripe strawberries, cranberries, black tea, licorice, nougat, gravel, potting soil. Flavourful but not powerful.

A fantastic appellation Pinot, this represents Sonoma Coast well. Red fruits and Asian spice on the nose. Palette gives blood orange, cherries, and a round yet precise mouthfeel.

Love the pinots and chards from Kistler. This had nice balance, medium bodied for a Pinot, hints of fruit.
