WNH event number 3...new world Pinot. Such a treat to experience the many different variations of Pinot!

Firing on all cylinders and flat out gorgeous. Everything about this wine was in harmony. No one note stood out. Mellowed out red and black fruit medley with Chinese five spice, peppercorn and roasted plum. Fantastic,

Keith thought this was just meh but I really enjoyed it. Black cherry, cherry cola, cedar, fairly full bodied. Finish of blackberries and licorice. Impressive for a 9 year old Pinot.

Dark purple at age 11 with lots fruit, yet lacking the balance to be great.

A lovely and conplex pinot. Not for the faint of heart.

2007 Kistler Cuvée Elizabeth paired with brown sugar ham, cheese and broccoli quiche, and a green salad. Happy Easter.

This is the 2006 convey Elizabeth Pinot Noir. The label is a little scratched from coming out of a seller. The wind has more structure and concentration than the 2008 Kissler Vineyard Pinot Noir it has good richness and still has at least 5 to 8 more years of longevity. It is not as small as opulently fruity the combination of Evergreen and red fruit The finish has characteristics of black tea red cherry and A hint of chocolate.

This 09 is exceptional it make me realize that I do in fact like many California Pinot Noirs. Especially ones that taste like this. Still super driven and Young with beautiful notes of hoisin, fresh picked strawberries and dried herbs. Really stunning stuff

Wow. Not normally a Pinot guy but this is in a sweet spot right now. Pretty fruits, good density, and phenomenal balance.
