On the nose cherry, earth, coffee bean, and some floral notes. Flavors of red cherry, soil, and some herbaceousness. Finishes with smooth red fruit and medium plus tannins. A nice super Tuscan. No description of the varietals on the bottle. I would guess sangiovese, merlot, and a bit of cab (sauv vs franc?).

Decanted ~45m, but needs more time or another year+.
Nose has slight green vegetal with under-ripe red raspberry, vine bark and non-descript cherry.
Palate has under-ripe cherry, (light) blackberry with medium tannins.
$13.99 at Costco, might look to try the '16 when it arrives, but I'm not going back for this one.

A bit on the dry side opened up after an hour. Tannins mellowed. I liked.
