Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Killer this year.

Good this year, not great.

$15.49, I have no idea why I just didn't buy a case...

Nose has cold-ripe peach, washed lime, wet limestone and lemon slice.

Palate has lime peel, under-ripe peach, cold lychee, candied lemon with mild acidity, but it's in great balance to the fruit.

$15.49 at Costco, best wine bargain I've seen in the warehouse in quite some time. Everyone should buy at least a bottle if you like a crisp wine for your summer enjoyment. We've got more and will enjoy next in the warmer weather!

Dazzling value from #costcowines. Letting this one warm up quite a bit will reward you with a beautiful nose: apricot, persimmon, touch of lemon, faint lemongrass. Lovely palate balance, touch of zippy spice on the end. Ludicrous value at $16 these days for #sancerre

I love posting Kirkland wine just because it ticks off the snobs. So this one gets an extra .1 rating for me just because it is such a value. You’ve got your melon you’ve got a bit of that funk to it it’s also sharp and crisp with citrus rind and a bit of salty minerality. We got a whole massive snapper today and roast in the oven with capers, lemon juice, garlic, and the usual spices this just paired perfectly. Wine is meant to be fun and enjoyable, not some sort of competition between who can find the most exclusive bottle.

Sharp citrus, apricot on the muzzle. Palate features sour citrus, apricot, delicious acidity and a mineral backbone. Beautiful ~$15 #sancerre from Costco displays heavenly QPR.

Crisp and refreshing! Peach, honeydew, flint, white flowers and grapefruit. Only two bottles of this wine at my Costco.

Smooth, not too sweet. Just great balance
