Very tasty Chianti. Light, but still has some nice leathery, earthy notes.

Medium ruby in color. Raspberries and cherries on the nose. Tastes like cherries with minerality and a long spicy finish. Good acidity. Good with pizza. A great value.

Fell a little short of expectations by being over-oaked and too vanilla-y. Base Sangiovese is there (slate, plum, cherry, and violets), but is overwhelmed by the wood.
