Reserve Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

2004 vintage is pruney and viscous, still with hints of cola and cherry after 13 years (was in a magnum). Strong leather and tobacco notes linger through to finish. Yum!

@DavidTraynor76 comes over for din-din the other day and he brings us this: oh boy!! Huge wine!! However, unlike most other Red Mtn. reds, this one lacked that notorious fruit expected from this region. Huge oak was there, fruit a little less. I'm not sure why that may be!?! '10 red Mtn fruit was massive, just not this one. I'll give the rating the benefit of the doubt, but you can be sure that I'll do a bit of research. Maybe I'll call winemaker Scott Williams and ask him what he did with it.

Bold start. Dark cherry dark chocolate musk

Much richer and darker than I remember. A really robust Cabernet from Washington state. Well structured and balanced as expected from Kiona, delicious wine.

Incredibly smooth, hints a dark plum. Worth the price.

Still young but drinking awesome! Can't wait to see how this evolves!
