Pretty decent red. I've never had this varietal before. It was not clear if there is any kind of unique typicity as it kind of reminded me of a light Zinfandel. I enjoyed this overall and would definitely buy again, very good value in my opinion.

Dark, red cherries and ink on the nose, with hints of pink peppercorn and crushed violets. Cherries and plums greet the palate, giving way to shiitake mushrooms and mesquite. Nice.

It's citrus citrus citrus right out of the gate.fascinating. Need to let Develop more and sit to oxidize and perhaps flush out the undertones.

A.K.A. Blaufränkisch, this Austrian varietal is certainly out of its element in this interpretation. It possesses the soft nutmeg and vanilla bouquet of many Washington Bordeaux blends, and a slightly jammy feel. Exceptionally enjoyable but a surprise!
