The 2004 King Estate Domaine Pinot Gris is drinking beautifully. Vibrant acidity combined with low pH and lees stirring have graced this wine with aging potential. There is an unexpected richness here—aromas of sauteed apples, burnt sugar and dried pineapple glide effortlessly under lighter notes of smoke and talcum powder. On the palate, nice weight, and silken texture are artfully spun into dried orange peel and almond skin. The finish is long and mouthwatering. Sample

last had this about 4 years ago, quite different but still holding strong! dried apricots, honeysuckle, damp slate, pear, and honeycomb. lots of acid and life left! will definitely continue to age gracefully
