Jan 8th, 2023A nice syrah. Nothing fantastic but fairly well balanced. Lacks the complex fruit I like. On the nose it's a bit boring. At the price it's a nice drinkable wine.

Decent fruit and jam on the nose. Label said huckleberries and raspberries. Maybe -if you squint...
Flavor is nice savory and a bit funky like Syrah should be. Hint of apple must (leftovers from pressing cider) and some berries of the slope for sure. Bitter and licorice-y on the end. A bit muddy and flabby, but a nice affordable Columbia Valley Syrah for sure.
