Light cherry and tea flavors. Excellent wine! — 7 years ago
We drink a lot of Coppola because it's consistently good and priced well. May have let this age a year too long but was still good. A little more full body like a Chardonnay. Was lacking in the floral notes I typically enjoy in my Viogniers of choice. — 8 years ago
One of the best cabs I’ve had! Mint, mineral, oak, dust, complex layers of dark fruit and Tabasco. Seriously a lot happening. It’s like the first time you tried the candy “Nerds” and the reaction you had when they started popping in your mouth. Radical! — 6 years ago
Delicious! Smooth, soft oak, mineral and rich berry. — 7 years ago
Nice wine and a good change from my regular New Zealand favorites. — 8 years ago
75% cab/16% Cab Franc/9% Merlot...a smooth and yummy blend with hints of smoke, oak, and dark berry. Will enjoy again soon! — 8 years ago
2007 was very nice! Soft fruit forward with flavors of strawberry and cocoa. Enjoyed without food. — 7 years ago
Nose is of spicy oak. Has just enough fruit to balance the oak. Finish is chalky, I think American oak, and plum. Drinking this without food while we cook dinner. The best way to cook! Going to go great with food. — 7 years ago
Oak and rich berry aroma. Chalky texture and med-light viscosity. Not much tannin-heat making it very easy to drink. This will be even more yummy in a year or two. Cherry and mineral notes. — 8 years ago
Brian Kohl
Very smooth Cabernet with just enough fruit left to make it very enjoyable. My brother, Alan, bought this from some winebarrel.com because our father was working in the cellar making this wine in 1982 until he left to join that wine maker at Merlion. A ton of fun to drink and has held up well! — 5 years ago
