Appearance: Glossy magenta and clear at the rim, medium-light body
Nose: Getting very little in the way of aromatics but baking spices and earthiness
Taste: On open there was some bitterness that faded about 2 hours open in bottle to enhance some of the violet, blue fruit notes and some crunchy tannins; similar structure I taste in some lighter Beaujolais, which I like.
Overall very enjoyable wine that will probably improve with a couple more years, but would favor a few other options in the same or lower price range ($28 here) - #Goodfellowfamilycellars #WalterScottWine

A good wine but a bit hard at the end- tannic & acidic but softer in the mouth at the start. Lighter red fruit like raspberries & blackberries plus some plum.

This is Adelsheim pinot Noir 2014 from Willamette Valley Oregon. NOW Were talking! Get a clue Lange crew. Night and day difference! Cherry pie bouquet. Cherries of coarse dominate the fruit along with a pinot grape juice beginning. I can actually taste the flavor of the grape before it was fermented. The mid palate brings on the pepper and spice. There is a hint of vanilla and oak. The the dry finish brings it home with a succulent after taste of raspberry and cherries. I love this wine!!!!!! Buy, buy, buy!!!!!

Beautiful garnet color, intoxicatingly soft on the palate, gentle notes of ripe strawberry and light floral rose with some dusty lavender. Some tannins at the end.

Jul 12th, 2017Adelsheim Vineyards in New Berg Oregon gives us 2014 Pinot Noir of coarse this is Willamette Valley, pinot noir capital of the world! The color is dark for a pinot noir, and the legs are slow. The bouquet is fresh lavender and chamomile. The initial palate is of coarse loaded with cherries, vanilla, spice and butter. The finish has a small amount of sour apple but overall long lasting grape juice after taste without the sweetness. Love this pinot for under 30 dollars!!!!
