Surprised to find this in the back of the cellar after 11 years. But it held up well and was a good choice for Mediterranean Sea Bass. Much more restrained than many Alsatian Rieslings with mild, but good, acidity. Bright notes of lime, saline,and fresh cut grass. Hint of latex on the nose was the only false step.

Sakana dinner 11/18/21 with Wilson/Mabel. Wonderful Alsatian Riesling. White fruited stony floral nose with a hint of petrol. Lively firm texture and stimulating on palate carrying through to finish. Impressive. However beat out by Deiss for the omakase pairing. Would make for great pairing elsewhere and still an impressive white wine.
