Outrageous. What a wine. Nose is confectionary city. Lime cotton candy, apricot, peach, tangelo, boood orange and white cherries. Amazing fruit clarity and purity. So so clean. Huge acid that numbs the sweetness and finishes savory. Just a stunning Spätlese.

Nose is very forward with wood shavings, white cherries, peach and apricot. Very ripe and exotic. Palate is scintillating. Awesome cleansing acidity and so pure. Forward palate as well but less so than the nose. Superb structure and sap. Almost tannic on the finish. Luscious and long with white peach and tangerine. Nose with air is hinting at secondary. Really elegant and with air finesse is developing. Long and concentrated.

Great wine. No formal notes. Maybe a tad closed.

A special wine. Nose is exuberant with such an insane perfume of blood orange, white cherry, huge mineral perfume. Kiwi, watermelon. So pure and dripping with ripeness and forceful minerality. So complete and complex like only Marbach can be. Heaven. 9.8 nose. Just so fragrant. Floral. It’s got it all. Palate is ripe, sweet yet super zesty and had all types of sweet citrus, rainer cherries and stunning apricot and peach fruit while all outlined by superb minerality. Awesome texture and concentration. Superb sweet tart effect here. Just an amazing wine.

Wow the nose is elite and harmonious. Sick. Flowers. Lime zest. Cotton candy. Blood orange. Tangerine. So complex. So ethereal. Amazing fleshiness to the nose. Wow. This is almost a 9.8 nose. How underrated is this guy? Wow, so sweet tart on the palate with sweet green apples, sweet rainier cherries and such filigree. So finesse. So complete and ethereal. Unreal filigree. Huge sweet tart fruit. God level delicious. Insane core of fruit and mineral. So long and finishes almost gamey. But that unique Nahe/Mosel gaminess. A stunner. Herbs on the nose. Superb spice. Wow. Smells like a scene in nature. Sick sick wine. Wow. This is the most insane spatlese value ever.

This wine is so filigreed. Nose of peaches, smoke, slate, so mineral, floral, maybe white flowers, deep, perfumed and penetrating aromas. Gorgeous purity and freshness. Very clean. Elegant, filigreed, compact with terrific sweetness, peaches, apricots, and wonderful complexity. Stunning purity and freshness. Absurd value.

This is sick wine. Nose is just amazing. Floral, Rainer cherries, apricot, vineyard peach, sick minerals. Dripping. Amazing purity. Such detail. So so clean. What a nose. Smells like $100 Spatlese. This is special. Ethereal. Omg. What’s a palate. Just insane and electric acidity. Like make you notice acidity. Insane citrus and cherry fruit. Superb electric acidity. Just echos on the palate. A hit of the savory on the mid and finish as well. Really young but just absolutely thrilling drinking. Truly one of the greatest young Spatlese I’ve ever had. A remarkable wine.

My parents are in town and they love a wee drop of Spatlese! This is a great one. Gorgeously pure nose. Ripe apple, a bit of crisp peach. Lots of pure stony minerality and even a sweet floral note. So balanced and pure and intense in the mouth. Mouthwatering!

What a nose. White berries and cherries. Even frosted pineapple and some guava. So mineral. Clean as a whistle. Wow. So elegant. Beautiful nose. Sweet and opulent but rapier like acidity and wonderful sweet stone fruits and lovely balance. Terrific.
