I think this 2011 vintage Syrah-Grenache (60/40) blend is still a ways from maturing. The Granache is still totally dominating the initial and mid palette, with the Sryah not poking out until I swallow. Ripe, bright red fruit, and a hint of white pepper make for a pleasant sip. Supple tannins grip the mouth, and sweetly let go...
