Sumō Petite Sirah Blend

This, is wine. Petite Sirah meets Syrah. Briary. Blue and Blackberry pie. Cassis. Black tea. Oak. Mega-wine. Cinnamon on finish

This is a great #wine in so many ways. Color is very well balanced and gradient shows Harmony throughout the glass. Glowing color and polished sheen. Slight perfume, elegance and soft lavender aromas with a hint of passion fruit or fuzzy fruit.

The palate is incredibly soft and pillowy. The tannins are amazing for 2013 #PetiteSirah. Whether it be 4% Viognier, or over sized oak barrels, it has amazing texture. The plush, grapey, soft berries, gentle tannin and mild acidity make the wine. Opened 12/18/15

Forceful in it's youth, yet remains some of the best Petite Sirah I've tasted.

Full bodied and full flavored. You wouldn’t expect it but awesome.

Great lingering finish. Still can age. Drink over 2-3 hours or even overnight to experience the evolution.

Plush, smooth and a bit of blackberry jam. Big wine. Nothing subtle about it. Very enjoyable on its own. Beautiful color.

Rich ripe fruit. A big wine full of dark fruit flavors but considering ripeness has balance.

Surprisingly good. 78% petite sirah, 20% Syrah, 4% Viognier

High expectations for the price. Big and inky as anticipated. Decanted 1+ hour and not vastly different. Big berry fruit in foreground, oak presence. Overall soft and velvety. Would love to try with more age.
