The Rhône vibe continued after the Cayuse and 426 HS with this bottle from Dan. A very solid GSM blend that showed more weight and density than the others, along with more sweet smoke, plum, underripe blackberries, dark cocoa dusted dates...yet also a nice lavender and sweet floral finish. I’d start opening these.

Awesome GMS Blend! The finish alone would of had me guess Sonoma Syrah with the grippy, tannic blackberry structure, but the finish and middle were very full and loaded with hibiscus, Lavender, nutmeg.

Enjoyably fruit forward with resolved tannins. My favorite of the three Keplinger wines we tried that night.

Smoky, Tart Cherry, Blackberry. Balanced acidity, smooth finish. Very well rounded for a full-bodied wine.
