From a single block in the Hudson Vineyard. This is a Hermitage clone of 93% Syrah cofermented with 7% whole cluster Viogner. Clove and cinnamon spice jump from the glass in this mid weight ruby wine. The spice carries into the palate where it’s met with a blast of black fruit and pepper. The medium acidity punches in on the back which helps carry it into a long finish where you get a bit of the french oak and medium tannin. This will only get better as both of those integrate.

From the Hudson Caneros vineyard. 1 hour decant(decent fine/cloudy sediment). A ravishing inky dark garnet color. On the nose: black raspberry, iron, bandaids, cinnamon spice, bacon fat, forest floor, touch of smoked meat. Taste: pure, smooth, good structure can keep going wine with black cherry, orange rind, black licorice, pepper, and a earthy chocolate long finish. YUM!

Drinking great now. Viognier is well integrated into the blend. Blueberry and spice with a nice finish.
