Kendric Vineyards
Proprietor Grown Marin County Pinot Noir
Really a nice value. Nose leaps from the glass with sweet, high-toned cherry and rose petal florals, along with faint notes of Graham cracker/maple syrup and gravel. In the mouth it’s got sappy, bright cherry ooze and cracked stone minerality. On the lean side, the acidity is brisk. I’d like the finish to be a bit longer, but it’s lots of fun.

Sep 29th, 2021Im loving this wine...red tart cherry and strawberry, cherry cola, some earth present, and great acid. Stemminess coming thru. Its stuck between old and new world.

Sep 14th, 20182013 vintage I was advised to wait until spring but alas ..here it is fresh off the truck! Bold fruit some stemmy-ness good acid a darker fruit profile. Some gritty tannin. Needs time and I'm glad to have a 6-pack for the future.

Aug 25th, 2021CWM: “Crushed dark fruit of wild blueberry, blackberry, and boysenberry appears on the expressive bouquet. In the mouth, concentrated fruit is enhanced with savory notes of white pepper, smoked meat and dried sage. A faintly floral character lingers on the gently gripping finish of this cool-climate Syrah” Max: relatively light for a Syrah, notes of olive

Aug 24th, 2020Not bad - just a hint too much of oak keeps it from being quite good. Still get nice light cherry on the nose and palate. Well integrated with a nice finish.

Feb 16th, 2020Love this. Great balance. Tart/ripe cherry side of things. Oak comes through very strong but it’s so balanced that it works. Could decant for an hour or so. Glad I have another bottle

Dec 20th, 2018Light in color, but in no way lacking in concentration, it shows equal levels of pure cherry fruit and earthy and minty savoriness which led a group of very experienced tasters to mistake it for a Burgundy. The slightly grainy tannin that serves as a solid foundation for the fruit probably contributed to the mistake. Very well done.
