Very good wine, in its prime. Still lots of berries, red peppers, long aftertaste.

First time tasted a Jackson Estate bottling, and it’s very good and a world away from the mass market Kendall-Jackson.

On the nose, expressive aromas of black cherry, blueberry, licorice, and cedar. Medium to full body. Flavors of dark plum, espresso, cocoa, and a hint of allspice. A nicely structured and polished Knights Valley cab.

Consumed 11/2020. Received in a shipment June But I’m not sure what year. Probably 2014 or so. $56.00. Deep, Rich, chunky and full-bodied. Loads of black fruit, licorice, espresso roast, slight cigar box and a hint of chocolate.
