One of my favorites at the moment. Only problem is that it is extremely hard to find in the Nashville area.
My fiancé and I luckily were able to make arrangements to have this at our wedding. 👍🏼

This wine is beast mode. Huge. Big on ripe forest fruit. Bon Anniversaire.

So many used the term "fruit forward" and this Cab is the right interpretation of it.

Great story behind this wine: Kendall Jackson asked the restaurant industry how to get their wines on their wine lists. They heard "make a good wine" - and this the result. Very impressive. Mission accomplished. At $20, a huge value.

A deep ruby look. Syrupy.
A high intense blueberry and tropical sweet nose with a little bit leather.
Medium full body. Dry. Medium low acidity. High tannin. Long length dominated by tannin.
A decent one.
14.5% ALC.

Unbiased opinion, but solid and dry wine from the “Hawkeye mountain”. It has that nice roasty feel at the end of each sip.

I happened to have gone to Alexander Mountain Estate in which these grapes are sourced from, mountain fruit is what you want not valley floor. Smaller concentrated berries with rich flavor with a smidge of petite Verdot. Dark, full and delicious. Not found at any grocery store only restaurants.

2013 vintage. Very nice, good nose, not too sweet, strong earth notes and balanced spice. Drank well with grilled beef. Maureen says, "very drinkable, not overpowering, goes well with the meat."
