In 1983 K-J introduced Grand Reserve, a line of premium wines. Dark inky color with aromas of dark fruits and pepper spice. The wine has small amounts of Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec in the blend. On the palate plum and tart cherry with cacao and oak. Rustic tannins, medium finish ending with slight fruit tones. Ok, but I’m not a fan, several others in similar price range are better. Tasting Sample.

The wine has small amounts of Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec in the blend. Tried this again. On the palate plum and tart cherry with cacao and oak. Rustic tannins, medium finish ending with slight fruit tones. Better 6 months later, just Ok, but I’m not a fan, several others in similar price range are better. Tasting Sample.

Mild and very understated. Almost had to drink it without tasting anything else. Lite fruit and nose. Kind of disappointing for the $34+ price tag. Would have expected better aromas.

smooth for all and very gentle taste as no meal is needed with this. Finish is as fresh juice.

Not so good when I opened bottle. But became excellent after few hours.
Even greater next day.
Very good balance. Deep taste.
