Sep 5th, 2020Aromas of Rose petal and raspberry. On the palate very primary with floods of fresh raspberry fruit. Very mild smooth tannins and acid. No detectable oak influence. Obviously designed to drink now. 3-5 years max. Tasted 42 weeks later with consistent notes.

The fruit has the mouth entry of an aged wine. As it begins to set on the palate, the fruits reveal their true age. They are soft, gentle and slightly sour. Plum, rhubarb, figs, cherries, blackberries and the ripe raspberries come on during the long finish. M+ tannins, red dry roses and violets and nice acid on the finish.

Jam my & rich yet quite fresh. Ripe raspberries & strawberries with some light damson plum. Some exotic spice and dried orange peel, too. Fresh & with nice purity. Quite enticing.
On the palate the richness & jaminess kicks in. Plush & velvety and sweet. When chilled down to is quite pleasant.
Otherwise not my cup of tea.
