Very good wine. 2012 right on par with age, smoke and red fruit. Would recommend to drink soon as wont have the length to improve with age.

Sittting now In Freiburg ok let's say specifically Au a hamlet with 1400 people. I am trying this Johner Pinot Noir a top estate from Baden. Blackberry on the nose and Nadia a friend thinks a small note of smoke. Relative light in color. In my opinion very smokey on the palate. Tea leaves and slightly bitter. Christoph thinks not long but short tail? Overall not my style but ok.

14% alcohol. Tarry and earthy notes on the nose, soft cherry fruit on the palate. Great ripe Pinot in the French style from Germany.
