Jul 21st, 2016Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.
Light on the nose with cherries, vegetables, green pepper, earth, wood, plums, forest floor and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Tart and fruity on the palate, with sour cherries, strawberries, cranberries, oak, black currants, raspberries, vanilla, smoke, dirt and peppercorn.
Medium on the finish with soft tannins, peppercorn (and a weird aftertaste).
Nice everyday red that goes well with food. I paired it with goat cheese and artichoke flatbread.
Fermented in concrete and Matured in French oak for 14 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
