Black fruit compote; loose and open - bit mute for my liking.

Clean and fresh biodynamic wine. Confectionary notes on the nose, slight hints of cherry and toffee. The lack of oak presents a wine that is rich in fruits, large selection of berries coming through on the palate, no tannin and low acid levels makes for a wine that is very easy drinking and approachable.

vitamin C orange, tight as fark. Questioning really why I'm drinking it so young. Is it me? Anyways, as a post ferment, I'd be stoked to have it in my winery. Can see the appeal.

Barossa deliciousness, unoaked 2014 Shiraz, unaffected, no oak, wild yeasts, no fining, no filtering, no sulphur. New wine for Kalleske, and simply delicious! Jump on board!

Beyond ridiculous good. Very fruit forward. Natural tannins, flavours of aniseed, blackberry and cinnamon. Great solid mouthfeel. Luxurious velvety texture. Could drink all day long!!

This is destined to be a truly polarizing wine. I drank it out of curiosity, being a wine intended to capture a sense of place and time. Grapes grown according to biodynamic practices, wild yeasts, no oak or wine processing aids, a short settling time and straight to bottle.

Bright purple in color and very dense. Shows the ripe, jammy features that have come to typify Barossa Shiraz. Primary red fruit and yeast aromas dominates the nose and follows through nicely on the pallet towards a medium length finish. Tannins are a bit gritty, lacking refinement.

Very reminiscent of being around a winery at harvest.

Overall, the wine is not terribly complex but is not necessarily intended to be. It was fresh, vibrant, fruit-forward, raw and accomplishes its goal of capturing a newly made wine that shows off the characteristics of the 2014 vintage.

Worth a try for the sake of curiosity.
