Another port from my parents trip to 🇵🇹.
This time a white one.
In itself it wasn't interesting. Sweet and a bit nutty with added yawns.
After some reading I tried it in different 🍸
Wasn't to my liking with decent tonic mixer.
Wasn't interesting enough substituting half of the gin in a Tom collins.
It shined replacing dry vermouth in gin martini variations!
A Porto martini (4:1 martini with a 🍋Twist) was lovely and refreshing.
A hi ho cocktail (2:1 martini with orange bitters and a Twist) was excellent. The sweetness of the port helped the gin and Bitters shine.
Not something to buy but if it's there, stir (or shake if you're last name is bond).
