Very pale yellow hue and lots of green herbal notes mixed with some citrus. Hay, mown grass, chives, a touch of grapefruit. A bit more citrus-y when drinking. Quite a nice drink.

Sipping Fine Wine

Justin & Deborah Baldwin acquired their land in 1981, planted 72 acres that year. Initially they were wine growers, then in 1987, they harvested their first grapes bottled under the Justin label. Pale lemon with tropical fruits, grassy citrus and floral scents. On the palate peach, tangy lemon citrus and melon flavors with gentle acidity. Medium+ finish ending with bright herb mineral character. Tasting Sample!

Pale straw, neither thin nor too round. $11 a glass at MSP. Worth trying but Kim Crawford would have been worth the $1 more.

Drinking in 2026... does not taste 18 years old! Lychee and limes, tart, fresh.

JUSTIN โ€“ Sauvignon Blanc 2024
Central Coast AVA โ€“ California โ€“ USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Overview
A fresh Central Coast expression of 100% Sauvignon Blanc, showcasing a bright, fruit-driven profile with coastal influence. The 2024 vintage leans vibrant and clean, emphasizing freshness without excessive sharpness.

Aromas & Flavors
Dominant grapefruit, citrus zest, and persistent tropical notes, think pineapple and passion fruit. Crisp and aromatic with a lively fruit core.

Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied with a refreshing, clean texture. Dry, with well-balanced acidity, sharp enough to stay lively, but not overly aggressive.

Food Pairings
Great with ceviche, oysters, grilled shrimp, or fresh salads. Also pairs nicely with goat cheese or light citrus-driven dishes.

Verdict
A crisp, approachable Sauvignon Blanc that delivers classic Central Coast freshness with solid fruit expression and balance. Easy to enjoy and highly versatile.

๐Ÿท Did You Know?
Central Coast Sauvignon Blanc often strikes a balance between New Zealand intensity and California ripeness, giving you both citrus precision and tropical charm.

Donโ€™t typically gravitate toward Sauvignon Blancโ€˜s๏ฟผ, but this โ€˜09 has great french oak notes. Drinks well - was worried it might be past its prime 11 yrs later.
