A rare find. Never had Justin Merlot before. Jumped right out of the bottle. Bright acidity, some grippy tannins. Ideal to be paired with food. Also, this wine is almost medium bodied. A welcome break from conventional California Merlot fruit bombs, and also why this is a great wine with food.

Good glass of wine, dark but not too rich. I enjoyed with a ribeye steak and seared asparagus. Would be interesting to taste along side isosceles to identify the Merlot and the impact it has one the blend. Cheers!🍷

Dark cherry licorice with leather. Dark in the glass. Smooth with medium tannins. Will pair well with many dishes....even pancakes? If we have leftover wine from dinner, tomorrow morning’s pancakes will have this as accompaniment....move over coffee.

Taste of medium tannin with a velvety smooth finish. Slight cherry notes.
