Julien Pineau
Coup d'Jus Vin de France Côt
I love everything that Julian Pineau does. This wine mostly of pineau d anise I believe is no exception. Less peppery more acid driven and mineral driven then others. I wish I had a case as is the case with all his wines.

Apr 18th, 2020Dark dark and inky. A little funk that blows off after a little while. Tart berries, fresh & appealing. The intensity in color is sort of counter intuitive as the wind is light and not heavy. It pops but no there’s not effervescence that you might see in Pineau sometimes. Ps I love the custom corks.
