Standard ~$20 Rhône. Plenty of black pepper on the nose, some cherry and maybe chestnut. Drinks bright and tart, medium acidity, medium body, medium tannins. Tea and cherries. Needs to be chilled slightly more than normal.

reminiscent of grill lighter fluid. good for a wine reduction. marginally palatable for actual drinking. Good luck on this journey!!!

Very unique Cotes du Rhone. Not your classic expression. Subdued, herbal, dry and earthy with notes of burnt brown sugar? Enjoyable but honestly not my favorite. Best with a chill and a grill.
