Always a killer value. Gorgeous nose of succulent fruit and wonderful minerality. Apricot. Apple. Screaming clean ocean air. Such a refined nose with great clarity. Terrific juiciness and palate presence with loads of gorgeous minerality and finishes with a nice herbal and tangerine streak. Hint of opulence. Lovely acidity and freshness. Awesome texture and depth and as it airs it gets sweet tart like. Awesome!

Intensely mineral, this is not a Riesling that showcases fruit. It’s quite demanding but in a good way. Would be amazing with Asian dishes featuring sweet and sour flavors.

Oct 9th, 2019So good. Very impressive. Very mineral nose. Also some peach, honeysuckle and apricot. Palate is so juicy and clean with lovely fleshy pithy Stone fruits and awash in mineral. Clean, pure, fresh and so balanced. Great wine. I love 2016.

Sep 19th, 2018Loving 2016 Rheinhessen and this is first one I’ve had from my recent Fall ship. Haven’t really had any since August. Mineral and tropical nose. Floral as well. Very pretty. Juicy and explosive with lovely refinement and serious minerality and a faint fruit sweetness despite being Trocken. So elegant and classy. Sappy and with a medium structure. This will be even better in 2-3 years.

Jan 1st, 2018Always a terrific bottle for no scratch. Nose is a hint reductive with lovely crisp peach and gobs of minerals. Very pretty and expressive. Really deep and so effusively mineral. Palate is so mineral and has insane freshness and acidity. So clean, pure and grippy. Very mineral driven. Terrific balance and lovely finesse. Bats way above.

Palate is juicy, lean and has green apple skins and some stone fruits and washes your palate with minerals. Super juicy, elegant and refined. Precise and linear. Just terrific.

Wow. Almost a savory lemon peel on the nose. Really intense. Super mineral on the palate. Great gorgeous citrus fruit. Lovely crackling acidity. Juicy finish. Can't believe this is estate trocken. Tastes like a level or two above. Bought from Fass selections. 2015
