Also my first NZ gruner. Funk and floral notes in nose. Litchi (lizhi or lychee) and lemon lime flavors, leesy finish with salinity and moderate skin astringency. Citrusy aftertaste. Crisp to tart, semidry. A bit rough on the press, perhaps - I like my free run juice in whites - but tasty. Better with food

Nectarine, apricot and pear, evolves into spring flowers and sea salt. Palate is surprisingly complex, fruit is balanced, acidity soaring, and that bit of white pepper hits on the finish w a pleasant touch of almondy bitterness.

Nice #wine, was first Grüner I've had from Marlborough. Nice herbaceousness, lively citrus and flowers. I'd like it with pizza...

Citrus, herbaceous notes, radish leaves, lemon/lime rind, a touch of unripe pear and a bit of horseradish on the nose. Bright acidity, lemon drop, spice, medium body and a waxy finish on the palate.

First GV from NZ for me. A pleasant surprise as far as non Austrian GVs go, but a Grüner of this quality would not qualify for exports in Austria. But again, a really nice wine, a bit high in malic acid, and the pepper on the finish seems harsh. Otherwise quite pleasant and nicely refreshing. And the price is right.

Nearly tastes like a daub blanc but not as insensly acidic. Fruity.
