Light to medium gold. Pineaple and ripe yellow fruit , light petroleum and varietal aromas as well on the nose that follow on the ripe and full palate, rich texture, wide yet with a soft backbone acidity, good length.

La bouche sur le mĂȘme registre, du fruit mur, plein, texture riche, aciditĂ© basse mais avec juste assez de maintien pour cette richesse, sucre rĂ©siduel pas trop perceptible, belle longueur. TrĂšs bien et un vin intellectuel un peu. 89-90

Simply amazed at how these Old World white wines from Alsace stand up to age. They not only stand up to it, they develop into something even more special. This 2002 vintage JosMeyer was delightful to drink. It brings all the tasting notes you'd expect from an Alsace Pinot Gris with none of the pretentiousness. A balanced feat in florals, watch and fruit. One of my favorites!!!
