This is a special wine. Final bottle of this series in my collection. Really amazing to see a wine that showcases the finesse of Stagecoach Vineyard rather than the power. Gorgeous sour cherry and mineral, herby notes. Glad I cellared it.

A special wine! Full bodied -almost luscious! Amazing scents of fruit with a hint of anise. Drinking really well for a 2006! Only one bottle left in the cellar...😮

Went with this to a windy picnic at Carmel Beach in 2013. Like taking a cannon to a croquet match. Fortunately the hosts concentrated on pasta and salume. People drinking it forgot to watch the sunset -- overpowering fruit, tobacco, blackberry.
