Initially a funky malo nose, but decanter has been a great partner, in 2H mostly dissipated.
Nose has green pear peel, salted honey and new oak firewood. Palate has cooked lemon with rind, mineral-ly pear flesh, warmed green apple with a mild, tannic finish. Recheck this bottle 2025+.
48H Update:
Nose has fresh yellow apple slice, crushing rocks, beeswax candle, white flowers and ocean air. Palate has lemon zest, pineapple core, light saline notes, cold yellow apple slice and wet slate. Quite a stunning bottle to be perfectly honest.

Very well put together.
Tidy package and worth seeking out.

A year in bottle and a different season in the vineyard for this 2018
Less body but more minerality and personality.
A wine that has found a balance.
Absolutely marvellous palate, long saline after taste. I wouldn't wait too much to drink up this.
Statement: his Chardonnays are underrated!

It reminds me of a Chassagne-Montrachet
Kaleidoscope of fruit, a huge bunch of flowers and a wet rock mineral quite peculiar
Long and perhaps slightly warm.
I'd say that it will benefit from time in the bottle
It has the body and freshness to age well IMO.

Really nice, lime leaf, fresh cut grass, and just teeny tiny whiff of vanilla
