30 year old Sonoma coast Pinot. More like a Barolo upon first open, with earth and leather, after 20 mins of breathing much more tart red fruit and juicy acidity to accompany all that mushroom. Much like an aged burgundy. Fruit is starting to come back alive. Delicious!

Wow! One of my best Cali Pinot experiences ever! Lots of sous bois but a core of strawberry and cinnamon giving amazing freshness. At peak right now, reminiscent of a very top quality Corton or Mazis.
