Jul 18th, 20162009 Napa Valley Cab. Dark berry fruit and medium mouth feel. A little pepper on the finish. Not as bold as I was expecting this wine to be. Tannins were mellow and the wine was very easy to drink.

Old crimson red half dense. Quite expressive on the nose, showing aromas of green forrest, black dirt, and dates; quite interesting. Very interesting performance on the palate as well, showing wild berries, green veggies, savory flavors like jerky beef, all in very pleasant harmony, very good balance after a long and tasty structure, good acidity, nice grip, and quite long, dry, peppery finish. 91 pts.

Classic Napa from a very good vintage. Powerful yet restrained. Bramble fruit, tobacco, dusty cedar and dill weed. Drinking well though still young.
